Job Description

As a Payroll Specialist, you have overall responsibility for the payroll process and work independently with payroll management from start to finish. The role is broad and varied and involves many contact points within the organization.

You act as a support to managers and employees in payroll-related issues and ensure that salaries, compensations, and benefits are handled correctly and in accordance with applicable laws and agreements.

Your main responsibilities include, among others:

  • Independent work with the entire payroll process

  • Handling of new hires, terminations, and changes in salary

  • Interpretation and application of collective agreements

  • Management of absence, vacation, pensions, and benefits

  • Contact with authorities and external parties

  • Reconciliations, controls, and reporting

  • Support and advice to managers and employees

  • Participation in the development and improvement of payroll processes and systems

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident in your role as a payroll specialist and enjoys working in a structured and independent manner. You are meticulous, responsible, and have a solution-oriented approach. At the same time, you are communicative and service-oriented, with ease in building trusting relationships.

You have relevant education in payroll and/or several years of experience in qualified payroll work. You have good knowledge of collective agreements and are used to working in payroll systems as well as in digital tools.

The role requires a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of Office 365. Experience in payroll management in Hogia, work with change processes, and process development is an advantage.
